Service Description
Offers free guide dogs and service dogs to people living with visual impairments and physical disabilities and to youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Guide Dogs – help people with a complete or partial visual impairment, a visual and hearing impairment or a visual and mobility impairment. Available to adults and children eleven years and older.
- Dogs for Youth on the Autism Spectrum – children can receive services from dogs that are specially trained to help them. Available for youth ages five to twenty one.
- Mobility Service Dogs – give individuals with mobility impairments a greater autonomy. They help people with a physical disability by pulling their wheelchairs.
Eligibility
Individuals living with visual impairments or physical disabilities and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
