Service Description
A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 17 infant and toddler children between the ages of six weeks and 30 months. Priority is given to teen parents from Nutana Collegiate. Community spaces when available. Child Care Subsidy accepted.
Philosophy
- Mission is to provide a holistic environment for infants and toddlers whereby we support some of the parents of Nutana Collegiate to complete their educational and parenting goals.
- Mandate to contribute to the formation of each child’s overall education by constructing the foundation of a positive learning and social environment.
- Believe in the necessity to invest in every young children so as to enhance their future well being as adults.
- Are a supportive community that nurtures an educational, home like setting which models mutual respect, cultural sensitivity, and healthy lifestyles.
Programs and Activities
- Team of seven Early Childhood Educators offers diverse activities and materials that children find engaging and challenging – have 17 spaces which allows for a high caregiver – child ratio.
- Activities are focused on the infant and toddler’s developments in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical tiers of abilities.
Nutrition
- A full-time cook prepares nutritious meals on a daily basis.
Eligibility
Children six weeks - 30 months of age.
Priority is given to teen parents from Nutana Collegiate.

Fees
There is no fee for teen parents, under the age of 22, enrolled in high school.
Community Spaces: Infant (6 weeks - 18 months) $850 Toddler (18 months - 30 months) $720 Infant Drop-In $50 per day, $35 per 3 hours. (when available) Toddler Drop-In $40 per day, $25 per 3 hours.(when available).
Child Care Subsidy accepted.
