Service Description

Provides subsidized, safe, and affordable rental units for the Métis and Indigenous communities.

Application Process

1) Complete an application form and a Landlord Reference Check form - available at the MLNUHC website


2) Save the completed forms to your device.


3) Email mlnuhc@sasktel.net OR enter personal information in the Contact form.


4) Click on the "Attach Files" button and upload completed application forms and additional documents.

Documents Required

1. Completed current and previous Landlord reference form


2. If applicant have lived in a Band house - letter from the Band regarding unit upkeep and any payments, if applicable.


3. If applicant have never rented housing before - TWO character references (not friends or family). Examples: present employer, teacher, Kids First worker, etc.


4. Current Health Card information for EVERYONE named on application


5. If Metis, five Generation Genealogical chart - fill it out to the best as possible.


6. If Treaty: treaty card or a letter from Band office.


7. Proof of income: cheque stubs, social service stubs, or other source of income stubs.

- Security deposit equal to first month rent


- Water meter deposit - $125.00
