Service Description

Provides tenants with the right level of legal intervention so that tenants can reach fair and effective solutions to their housing matters, including eviction.

  • Eligible clients will receive an appointment with a lawyer for summary legal advice within five business days of contacting Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan.
  • Clients then may be referred for representation, by an articling student, at their eviction hearing. Representation cannot be guaranteed.

Eligibility

The client must not already have legal representation, the tenancy issue must be occurring in Saskatchewan, and the client's household income and assets must fall within PBLS’s financial eligibility which is assessed during intake.

Application Process

Call 1-855-833-7257 to leave a message with your name, telephone number and an intake worker will return your call. If you are facing eviction or the risk of eviction, say that on the message and they will attempt to prioritize returning your call.
