Service Description
Program provides an opportunity for clients to be matched with volunteer lawyers for more than one hour of free legal advice. Clients must first have an appointment at a Free Legal Clinic. If the legal issue greatly impacts the client’s life and the client has limited means to represent themselves, their matter may be referred to the Panel Program.
The Panel Program facilitates a volunteer lawyer representing the client. They cannot guarantee this service. Service will depend on the availability and willingness of a volunteer lawyer to take the matter on.
Free Legal Clinics are available in Regina, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Yorkton, Prince Albert, Meadow Lake, La Ronge, Estevan, Weyburn, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Lloydminster. Telephone legal advice appointments are available.
Eligibility
Low income residents of Saskatchewan.
