Service Description
Provides free child development programming to families and caregivers with young children (zero – five years). Some of the specific information and resources provided by Early Years Family Resource Centres include:
- Opportunities for children through play-based activity, family groups, art, music, movement or other preschool programming
- Parent education through formal and informal learning opportunities, drop-in programs and seminars
- Family wellness and support initiatives to assist in identifying and building skills that support child development and overall family health and wellness
- Information and referrals to other children development-related community services.

Families and caregivers with children under the age of six years.
Application Process
Contact the Early Years Family Resource Centre as drop-in programming and activities that require pre-registration are offered.

Monday: Closed for free play
Tuesday: 10:00 am -12:00 pm (noon) 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Wednesday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (noon), 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (noon) and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (noon) and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on the third Saturday of the month unless it falls on a holiday weekend
Closed Sunday.
Closed statutory holidays.
