Employment Referrals

Provides referrals to appropriate employment service providers. Ensures that clients are given the necessary support to be successful in their new community. Employment service providers offer:

• Assess employment readiness
• Provide pre-employment services such as resume development, cover letters, interview coaching or preparation
• Provide information of appropriate resources to clients as needed
• Orient newly hired clients to the workplace and support them to meet performance standards
• Mentor clients to build their confidence on-the-job and retain employment
• Monitor clients progress in employment
• Provide intensive job retention supports
• Build relationships with employer partners.
