Service Description

Provides aid and comfort to veterans (CAF/RCMP) in crisis, at risk of homelessness, or living homeless. Services, led by volunteers, include:

  • moving veterans from the streets or shelters into affordable housing
  • securing food support and needed health care
  • navigating community services/resources and benefits
  • supporting re-entry to the workforce.

Specialized help and support for Canadian Veterans who identify as members of the LGBTQ2S+ community (via funding from the LGBT Purge Fund). This support is provided by someone in the community who is familiar with the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ2s+ veterans.
 

Eligibility

Veterans (CAF/RCMP) in crisis, at risk of homelessness, or living homeless.
