Service Description
Specialized, intensive, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment centre focused on helping children who have been sexually abused, as well as their families. Offers a one-year combined onsite and outpatient program designed with significant input from many leading academic and clinical experts who specialize in child sexual abuse and trauma.
Treatment begins with a 26-day stay at the Be Brave Ranch for children ages 8-12 and a twelve day stay for girls aged 13-17, followed by three additional intensive interventions for twelve days to continue face-to-face therapy. Children work with a clinical team between stays.

Eligibility
Boys ages eight - 12 years and girls ages eight - 17 years who have been sexually abused.
The Clinical Team reviews applications to determine whether the applicant meets criteria for admission to the Ranch.
Further inclusion criteria includes:
- History of child sexual abuse (and has been reported)
- Must be in good physical health
- Developmentally able to be in a treatment facility
- Psychologically minded and able to benefit from therapy
- Able to perform the skills required for daily living.

Fees
Treatment ranges on average from $10,000 per teen (13-17 years old) to $20,000 per child (8-12 years old) for one year of treatment. Contact for information on potential financial supports.
