Service Description

Offers a safe place for children and youth who have experienced abuse. They can tell their story and be supported throughout the entire disclosure, investigation, judicial and healing journey. Services include:

  • Case coordination and review
  • Child and youth forensic interviews
  • Advocacy and support
  • Community referrals
  • Court preparation and accompaniment
  • Community education.

Eligibility

Children, youth and families going through judicial and police processes involved with abuse crimes.

Application Process

Only the RCMP or Children's Services can refer to the Little Bear Child and Youth Advocacy Center.
