Service Description
Provides opportunities for people with challenging abilities to become involved in various contract work such as paper recycle projects, confidential paper shredding, packaging, button badges, and seasonal projects.
- Programming is tailored to each participant’s interests and capabilities and helps strengthen and develop skills.
- Programming goal: enhancements of quality of life through entertaining and educational skills.
- Also includes on-work activities such as exercises, skill development, outings, and interest groups.
Eligibility
Individuals with challenging abilities. The programming within the Light Assembly program is tailored to each individuals likes and capabilities, the staff are encouraged to use their existing skills to teach the participants new skills.
