Service Description
A Christian based licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 12 children between the ages of 12 months and five years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in Yoruba language. Child Care Subsidy accepted.
Philosophy
- Goal is to provide your child with a safe and caring home environment.
Programs and Activities
- Does not follow a strict daily plan but does provide opportunities for children to participate in a variety of activities that promote freedom to choose both indoors and outdoors.
- This is done through play based and teacher directed lessons throughout the day.
- Works with each child starting from their competence level and seeks ways to enhance the development of those abilities and talents while introducing new skills and opportunities in the process.
Nutrition
- Believes good nutrition is important in the growth of children.
- Provides nutritious meals following the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide and make exceptions in cases of allergies.
Eligibility
Children between the ages of 12 months - 5 years.
