Service Description

Provides selected graduates of the residential treatment program with an opportunity to continue and complete their secondary education, gain work experience, and enhance their life skills. Residents continue their healing journey supported by cultural teachings and programming.

Eligibility

First Nations and Inuit male youth between the ages of 16 - 25 years old with a minimum grade 9 education level who have completed the residential treatment program. Youth are expected to: - remain substance free, - support peers in residence, - contribute to the overall maintenance of the house, - complete the limited stabilization period prior to moving into the Pēkiwēwin House.
