Service Description

Provides free services that include:

  • Assessment of language skills using the Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLB-PT) and the Canadian Language Benchmarks Literacy Placement Test (CLB-LPT)
  • Needs Assessment and Consultation
  • Referrals to Federally Funded language programs (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada or LINC) in Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert.

Eligibility

Clients must be Permanent Residents who are 18 years of age or older and who must be ready to start attending classes in Saskatoon at the time of assessment.

Application Process

Referrals are provided in Saskatoon (201-336 5th Avenue North), Regina (100-2445 13th Avenue) and Prince Albert (Care of the YWCA Prince Albert)

Proof of Permanent Residence is required.
