Service Description

A voluntary home-visiting program that supports parents and their children ages zero to three by enhancing parenting knowledge, providing support, and building on family strengths.

Includes:

  • In-depth family assessment
  • Prenatal referral and support
  • Weekly home visit (including support regarding child development, parenting, and connecting to the community)
  • Build a trusting relationship with parents and children
  • Provide information, education and referrals to appropriate services
  • Provide support to families to create positive change in their lives
  • Mental Health and addiction services
  • Prekindergarten, early learning, and childcare opportunities

Eligibility

Parents and their children (three years of age and under) who live off-reserve who are living in vulnerable circumstances.
