Service Description
A voluntary home-visiting program that supports parents and their children ages zero to three by enhancing parenting knowledge, providing support, and building on family strengths.
Includes:
- In-depth family assessment
- Prenatal referral and support
- Weekly home visit (including support regarding child development, parenting, and connecting to the community)
- Build a trusting relationship with parents and children
- Provide information, education and referrals to appropriate services
- Provide support to families to create positive change in their lives
- Mental Health and addiction services
- Prekindergarten, early learning, and childcare opportunities
Eligibility
Parents and their children (three years of age and under) who live off-reserve who are living in vulnerable circumstances.
