Service Description

Provides counselling services to individuals, families and communities to help them sustain an environment of safety and well-being. First Nations cultural traditions, practices and ceremonies are supported to build strong children, youth and families. Areas of counselling include:

  • sexual, emotional, physical, and/or spiritual abuse
  • stress
  • suicidal ideation
  • trauma and PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome)
  • self injury
  • depression
  • grief and loss
  • eating disorders
  • OCD (obsessive compulsive disorders)
  • bipolar disorders
  • panic disorders
  • social anxiety disorders
  • phobias
  • self esteem and self image problems
  • struggles related from attending residential schools
  • the effects of being involved in the residential school compensation process.
