Service Description

Offers mental health resources for youth and educators.

Be There: consists of digital resources that teach anyone how to support someone struggling with their mental health. The Be There Certificate is a free, self-paced, interactive learning experience created in partnership with Born This Way Foundation, to increase mental health literacy and provide youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely support anyone who may be struggling with their mental health. The Be There Certificate is intended for youth 15+, but can also be taken by adult allies. See the program overview here to learn more or visit betherecertificate.org to get your certification. Certificate is available in English, French, and Spanish.

Educator Hub: a vetted collection of resources that bring Jack.org’s mental health promotion programming into the classroom. With the edHUB, educators can explore youth-friendly lessons on recognizing signs of mental health struggle, supporting friends and classmates, reaching out for professional support, and the importance of self-care — all in alignment with grade 9 Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick curriculum requirements. It also includes guides for educators to use to brush up on their own mental health knowledge and build a safe classroom environment for mental health discussion. Click here for more information.
