Offers emotional support, provides information, assists with safety planning, and helps connect to other supports that may be needed. Services include:

  • Specialized Victim Services unit
  • Risk assessment and safety planning whether someone is in a relationship or has already left
  • Information about protection orders and the justice system
  • Assistance in getting into a shelter
  • Referrals for yourself and your children
  • Accompaniment to court, the police station, and other appointments regarding your safety
  • Groups for survivors of intimate partner and family violence
  • Direct and quick referrals to specialized counselling
  • Support by phone, or in-person
  • Information about Government legislation specific to survivors of intimate partner, family and sexual violence, such as Victim’s Compensation, breaking a lease or legislated days off work
  • Assistance with Victim Impact Statements
  • Early Intervention for Families
  • Older Adult Response Service
  • Sexual Misconduct within the Military.
