Service Description
A work-readiness program designed to assist new Canadians with language levels CLB 3-5 to access and re-enter the Canadian workforce. Services include:
- Onsite Training (nine weeks)
- Resume/Cover Letter Writing
- Job Search Techniques
- Interview Preparation
- Canadian Workplace Culture
- Essential Life/Work Skills
- Career Action Planning
- Computer Skills
- Offsite Training (six weeks)
- Voluntary Work Placement
- And more.
Eligibility
Immigrants and refugees 18+ who must:
- be eligible to work in Canada;
- have lived in Saskatchewan for no more than 5 years;
- be actively seeking employment in entry level positions;
- attend an Information Session prior to being accepted in the program;
- have Language Proficiency: CLB 3-5 (achieved) in each skill area (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing);
- committed to completing the full 15 week program (onsite and work placement).

Intake times: August, November, March. Registration available at the IWS main office.
