Service Description

Aims to ease the settlement process for children in school. Assists with:

  • school registration process
  • provides support to students as they transition into a new school system
  • arranges student/parent meetings, including 3-way conferences
  • bridges the gap between home and school communication
  • provides interpreter / translator services
  • family support
  • registration for extracurricular activities
  • promotes cultural sensitivity in the school and community
  • connects families with resources and services in the community.


Individuals who are new to Canada.
