Service Description

Provides client-tailored support services for individuals, families, caregivers that require various supports to have needs met. Services include:

  • Support in accessing community resources
  • Information and Advocacy
  • Planning to help you achieve your goals
  • Collaboration with school teams
  • Youth and adult transition planning
  • Brief counselling
  • Assistance navigating government systems
  • Help in accessing funding to meet unmet needs
  • Support in obtaining caregivers
  • Training opportunities for caregivers, families, and the community
  • Monthly social programs
  • Summer Recreation and Respite Program.


Individuals, families, and caregivers that require various supports to have needs met.

Application Process

An individual or family member can fill out a referral and consent form available at the CISS office, or referrals can be made through a community agency, school or service provider with permission by the family.
