Service Description
A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 36 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy
- Provide opportunities for children to grow and learn in a socially acceptable environment while providing age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Recognize that all children, parents, and team members are gifts and deserve to be treated as such.
- Provide a home-like, aesthetically pleasing facility that welcomes everyone through an “Open-Door Policy.”
- Allow children opportunities to take ownership and pride in their learning while honoring diversity and family values.
- Work in collaboration with children, parents, family, and community members to ensure that all individual children grow in all areas as a whole – social-emotional, physical, intellectual-cognitive, creative, and spiritual.
- Early Learning Educators are certified in Early Childhood Education as well as required to obtain First Aid & CPR as well as Food Safe Handling at their earliest convenience if they do not have these certifications prior to employment.
Programs and Activities
- Play-based facility.
- Various age-appropriate individual/group and hands-on learning experiences – as well as field trips in the community.
- Activities are child/teacher led depending on the experience.
- Always extend the learning based on the child’s interest and document accordingly to share with families special occasions like the “Mother’s Day Tea” or ” Father’s Day Picnic.”
- Have developed a ” Physical Activity Policy” that includes but is not limited to at least 30 minutes of outdoor activities each day with respect to -25 or +25 degree temperatures with special mind to times when the air quality is poor.
Nutrition
- Provide two nutritious snacks at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm, and a healthy hot lunch at 11:30 am daily for children according to the Canada’s Food Guide.
- Information is posted each week within a parent page to see what is being provided and to allow for any special diets that may require parents to send food.

Fees
Offers full-time, part-time, casual/drop-in spaces.
Infants: $6.50 per hour, $45 per day, or $800 per month.
Toddlers/Preschool/School-Age: $5 per hour, $34 per day, or $610 per month. Two children from the same family and over 18 months: $9 per hour, $60 per day, or $1100 per month. Three children from the same family and over 18 months: $12 per hour, $75 per day, or $1475 per month.
Two children from the same family, one infant and one over 18 months: $10.50 per hour, $70 per day, or $1300 per month. Three children from the same family, one infant and two over 18 months: $14.50 per hour, $95 per day, $1700 per month.
