Service Description
A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to eight children between the ages of six months and 12 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence.

Programs and Activities
- Develop activities centred on stories, songs, math, circle time, science, music, theatre and arts/crafts.
- Strive to prepare your children for their early school years by exposing them regularly to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, name recognition, and new vocabulary.
Nutrition
- Child care provider must serve meals and snacks to children who are six months age or older that meet their nutritional needs and ensure children are fed appropriately according to their ages and developmental level.
- Child care provider is not required to supply infant formula or baby food.
- Children must be served a meal or snack at a minimum of three hour intervals.
- Menus follow Canada’s Food Guide.
- Provide 2 nutritious snacks and lunch in a day.
- Meals are prepared appropriately according to child’s developmental age.
- The weekly menu is posted in the front entrance.
- Plenty of vegetables and fruit, wholegrain breads, cereals, pitas, tortillas, roti, crackers and pasta, fish, beans, chickpeas, eggs, and tofu.
- Snack foods made with little or no added fat, sugar or salt, water, milk, cheese and yogurt.
