Service Description
A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to eight children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in English language and conversational in Spanish language.
Able to accommodate children with delays and differing needs. May be able to accommodate children with additional physical accessibility needs. Please contact for further information.

- A predictable routine and structure helps children to feel safe while teaching them personal responsibility and independence.
- Outdoor play, experiences in nature, and exercise help with mood, behaviour, and impulse control. Playing outside is important.
Programs and Activities
- All children will participate in:
- Free, unstructured play with rotating toys that follow children’s interests.
- Gross and fine motor activities that are always accessible to the children.
- Adult led activities, crafts, and games.
- Circle time with books, felt stories, finger plays, songs, read aloud.
- One hour Outdoor play.
- Naptime/Quiet time.
Nutrition
- Program follows the Canada Food Guide.
- Protein, grains, and fruit/vegetables are served at every meal while two groups are served at snack.
- Program offers morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
- Meals are always nutritious and menu is on a four week rotation.
- Respect for children’s bodies and appetites will be honoured. Provider chooses what to prepare and serve, while the children’s job is to decide what, and how much food they would like.
