Service Description
A mental wellness program based on a holistic treatment model. Program includes:
- Community Outreach/Prevention
- includes public education, prevention and health promotion, suicide prevention
- Youth Initiatives
- includes Youth Action Councils, Leadership from the Heart, Recipe for Success, Capacity Building Opportunities, Good Grief Camp for Youth
- Training and Development
- includes staff library, certified trainers, ASIST, T4T, SafeTALK, Mental Health First Aid, Mentorship Program, information and data collection
- Mental Health and Addictions
- includes Mental Wellness Teams, ASI, Brighter Futures, NNADAP, Crisis Support
- Family Based Interventions
- includes Grief and Loss, Healing the Heart Grief outreach, Honouring our Traditions Anger Resolution, Traditional Parenting
- Residential Treatment
- includes Responsible Gambling Inpatient/Outpatient Program, Sakwatamo Lodge, Outreach/Follow-up Support
- Youth Engagement and Empowerment Strategy Program
- includes a support group where youth have the opportunity to use their voice and discuss challenges that stem from grief and loss
