Co-operative Housing

Service Description
Provides 50 affordable co-operative housing units for older adults who are self-sufficient and retired. Facility is managed by the members who live in it through a board of directors and committees. Members occupy a unit in the building of which they are part-owner.
Eligibility
Older adults who are self-sufficient and retired. Limited wheelchair accessible suites offered.
Application Process
Application can be completed and printed via the website. Applicants may be placed on a waitlist.
Fees
$20 application fee required with completed application.
Members pay a one time $500 share capital which is refunded when they leave the co-operative.
