Service Description
Provides flexibly scheduled and routed transportation services using low-capacity vehicles such as vans for community residents who do not have private transportation and are unable to use the fixed-route public transportation system. The Transit Bus can make trips in Saskatchewan only and cannot go out of province.
Eligibility
Elderly individuals and those with special needs.
Application Process
Please allow 1 week minimum notice in booking any special trip with the Transit Bus, as clients must be given advance notice that the bus will not be available.
Trips may be cancelled within 24 hours of the booked time.
Fees
In Town: $2 per one-way trip with pass card $3 per one-way trip without pass card. Visit the town office to purchase a pass card. Out of Town: $0.65 per kilometer.
