Service Description
Helps individuals and families in financially vulnerable situations build and buy quality affordable homes by reducing barriers to home ownership. Homes are sold to qualified homeowners at fair market value and carry an interest free, zero down payment mortgage set at 25% of their gross annual household income.
Eligibility
Families in need of affordable housing, able to repay a Habitat mortgage, and a willingness to partner with Habitat. See the website for details.
Application Process
1) Attend a family information meeting. See the website for the date of next meeting.
2) Email the director.
Fees
Families contribute a minimum of 500 hours within 24 months with the help of 5 friends and family members instead of a down payment.
