Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 12 children between the ages of one year and 12 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy

• Providing a safe, warm, loving, clean environment and home away from home care for children where they learn and grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually by treating them as a unique little one. 
• Are committed to help the families by maintaining open communications and fitting family needs, therefore the goal is to provide a high quality care and let them learn through play and exploration.

Programs and Activities

• Structured and routine based daily activities – programs are following play and exploration – letting them explore and discover their own unique way through playing and pretend play has a big factor on how they express themselves. 
• Have indoor and outdoor play.
• Structure is based on Reggio Emilia – this educational approach gives guiding principles – they are better on problem solving, engage with their community and environment, they can express themselves with confidence, build social skills, open to new experienced and most of all they enjoy learning.

Nutrition

• Believe children need proper nutrition to stay and grow healthy and strong – proper nutrition for children can also help establish a foundation for healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge that a child can apply throughout life.
• Provide meals according to Canada Food Guide.
• There are no special diet preparations at the moment.
