Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 12 children between the ages of birth and six years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. 

Parents/guardians are required to volunteer.

Programs and Activities

• Storytime, games, Jolly Phonics (literacy), numeracy, art, crafts, sensory, science, language, music, movement, outdoor play, puzzles, toys, baking, painting, colouring, etc. 

Nutrition

• Breakfast: two vegetables or fruits + one grain + one protein; and milk and water
• Morning Snack: one vegetable or fruit + one grain; OR, one vegetable or fruit + one protein; and milk and water
• Lunch: one vegetable + one fruit + one grain + protein; OR, two vegetables + one grain + one protein; and milk and water
• Afternoon Snack: one vegetable or fruit + one grain; OR, one vegetable or fruit + one protein; and milk and water
