Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 11 children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Programs and Activities

• Both owners pursuing Early Childhood Education Level 1 certification.
• All caregivers, including two daughters, certified in First Aid and CPR with clear criminal record checks.
• Regulated under Saskatchewan Child Care Act 2014 and Child Care Regulations 2015, ensuring a safe, high-quality environment.
• Emphasis on developmentally appropriate activities like storytelling, circle time, science exploration, and arts and crafts, along with nutritious meals and reliable care.

Nutrition

• Meals and snacks follow the Canada Food Guide, emphasizing balanced nutrition and social learning.
• Lunch includes protein, grains, fruits, vegetables, and milk; snacks consist of grains or protein, fruits, vegetables, and milk.
• Inform about allergies on enrollment forms and provide substitutes if needed.
• Scheduled, healthy meals, and snacks every three hours, including snacks for children returning from school.
• Emphasis on maintaining a clean eating environment, teaching etiquette, and respecting children’s eating choices without pressure.
