Service Description
A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 11 children between the ages of six months and ten years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in Hindi and Urdu languages. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy

- Acknowledge children to express their thoughts, understandings, and explore creativity
- Children are encouraged to participate meaningfully in groups and to learn how to communicate with each other in a positive manner
Programs and Activities
- Open ended activities
- Circle time/Learning activity
- Educational activities and programming: arts/crafts, science experiments, story time
- Outside play (weather permitting)
- Nap time (children remaining awake may read books or do other quiet activities)
- Rhyme time
- Schedule is flexible and adjusted according to the children’s needs and interests
- Main goal is learning and fun
Nutrition
- Provides four nutritious and well-balanced meals
- Canada’s Food Guide is used as a guideline to determine adequate amounts of foods from the four food groups
- Goal is to offer nutritious meals and snacks as nutrition is a vital part of a child’s health and children need to eat well balanced meals to meet their daily energy needs and help them build a strong body and mind

Full time: Infants: Total Fee $1095 per month, Parent Portion $217.50 per month Toddlers: Total Fee $1045 per month, Parent Portion $217.50 per month Preschool: Total Fee $995 per month, Parent Portion $217.50 per month Kindergarten (before age 6): Total Fee $995 per month, Parent Portion $217.50 per month Part-time: Grade 1 Before and after School until age 10: $450 per month.
