Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 11 children between the ages of six months and 13 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in Urdu and Hindi languages. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Programs and Activities

• Will provide active/quiet play, individual/group activity, indoor/outdoor activity and structured/free choice activity.
• Offers variety of daily activities which may include music and movement, language and listening and sensory play, problem solving and decision making, computer activities, stories, free play, quiet/nap time, science, literacy, culture, art, health, math, and engineering.
• Days depend on the needs of the children and the day – every day is different.
• Appropriate activities will be provided according to the age
• Daily routine will help them to learn and explore – this gives children the best start prior to starting school.
• Will provide excursions from time to time.

Nutrition

• A healthy and nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are prepared and served on daily basis.
• Parents are welcomed to send formula and/or breast milk in labeled baby bottles.
• Will accommodate special dietary needs.
• Will post menu in the front entrance and provide a copy to each family.
• Lunches and snack follow the suggested servings and food group based on the Canada Food Guide.
• Have cupcakes or treats for birthdays and special occasions.
