Girls Rock Camp

Service Description

Offers a week-long summer program for girls, aged 8 – 14 where they learn an instrument, form a band, and write a song to be performed at a showcase at the end of the week.  Campers take part in a number of music and non-music workshops centred on creativity and confidence-building, such as songwriting, image and identity, self defense, zine-making, and more.

Eligibility

Female, trans, two-spirit, and gender expansive youth, 8 - 14 years of age and from all backgrounds. No previous musical experience is required.

Application Process

Visit website to register. There may be a waitlist which you can add your name to.

Documents Required

Instruments will be provided for all campers for the week of camp.
