Child Care

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 25 children between the ages of six weeks and 13 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted. 

Some fundraising and and volunteering required from parents/guardians.

• Aim to enhance the quality of children’s lives and provide an environment they enjoy attending.
• Vision is to provide a high-quality Early Learning Environment that promotes inclusion and provides a feeling of safety, fun, warmth and security to children and their families. 
• Main value is to put children and their needs first, by working collaboratively and respectfully with families.
• Will optimize education by program planning around children’s unique interests, skills and abilities.
• Children will learn many social and life skills that will positively impact their relationships. 
• Together, they work collaboratively to strengthen children’s foundations for learning, behaviour and health; setting them up for lifelong love of learning.

Programs and Activities

• Has a play-based program.
• Daily schedule/program allows children to make choices about activities and fosters independence.
• Adaptations are made to meet the needs of individual children.
• Daily schedule/program allows the interests of children to determine the learning content.
• Day is structured with a mixture of indoor/outdoor play, structured/free choice activities, child led/teacher led activities. 

Nutrition​

• Believe nutrition is important for the proper development of the child. 
• Provide morning and afternoon snack and lunch.
• Parents are required to provide food for special diets and allergies.
