Service Description
Prepares personal tax returns for individuals who have a low income and a simple tax situation.
- Not affiliated with the Government of Canada Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.
- Runs from March 21 – April 25, 2024
- Note: may not be able to answer complex tax questions and does not prepare complex tax returns. Visit canada.ca/taxes or call 1-800-959-8281 for complex tax information.
Eligibility
Eligible Individuals Individuals and families who are unable to prepare the income tax return on their own, have low to modest income and a simple tax situation. Individuals Not Eligible - Deceased - Bankrupt - Self Employed - Who have capital gains or losses/employment expenses; business/property rental income and expenses Income Maximums Single Person - Up to $40,000 Two Person Family - Up to $50,000 Three Person Family - Up to $52,500 (each additional Family Member add $2,500)
Application Process
In person and drop-off service provided. Appointments recommended for in-person service.
