Service Description
Provides intensive response to family crisis to ensure the personal safety of children while allowing them to remain within the family home. Responds to emergent requests to enter homes and provides support services to families in crisis. Offers:
- Support, Teaching, Monitoring
- Connection to Counselling
- Conflict Resolution
- Parenting and Coping Skills
- Safety and Care Plans
- Elder services to families, counselling, ceremonies, and talking circles
- Involvement with the family for up to six weeks.
NOTE: Referral needed from Ministry of Social Services.
Eligibility
Children and families who are receiving family and youth services.

Referrals only, from the Ministry for Social Services (MSS).
