Service Description

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for 90 children between the ages of six weeks and the start of grade one. Child Care Subsidy accepted. 

Parents/guardians are expected to participate in fundraising or pay an opt out fee.

Philosophy

  • Strive to create a child-centered learning environment while following the principles of Play & Exploration Early Learning Program Guide.
  • Provide a safe atmosphere for children to expand and challenge their abilities through developmentally appropriate experiences.
  • Together they foster a solid foundation for the holistic child: creative, spiritual, social, emotional, physical and intellectual.

Nutrition

  • Have full time Nutrition Specialists that make all meals for their centres.
  • Do their best to provide a nutritious menu that is child friendly for everyone to enjoy.
  • Bake all their muffins, loaves & cookies and create from scratch the soups & casseroles.
  • Must also serve a fruit/vegetable with every meal as well as serving milk at least twice a day.
  • Four week rotating menu is in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide & the requirements from the Ministry of Education – Early Years Branch.

Children between the ages of 6 weeks - grade 1.
