Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 12 children between the ages of six months and eight years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in Tagalog language. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy

• Goal is to provide your children with the most care and safe environment; in this way, they will feel they are not away from home and parents.  
• Aim is to encourage them to participate in daily activities and fun with their own choices to help build up their creativity, imagination, and self-esteem.  
• Wish to have an open line communication with both parents and child to feel at home and comfortable. 
• Believe parent/provider communication is a key to a successful child care relationship.  
• Beyond communication, provides a healthy, safe, and loving home-like environment for all children where they can learn and grow on a daily basis – they deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, explanation, question, and imagination.

Programs and Activities

• Have a variety of activities to be done everyday.  
• Doing different kinds of crafts is part of daily activities.  
• During summer days (weather permitting) they spend much time on outdoor activities, with lots of things to do including lunch and snack, with bbq.  
• Circle time includes reading books, writing, playing music, and dancing.  
• Do different kinds of puppet shows, performed by each child, depending on their age.  
• Schedule includes some time for dramatic play with costumes.

Nutrition

• Has a weekly menu which was reviewed and approved by their Consultant in Early Learning and Child Care.  
• Special diets are provided by the parents, or can be prepared upon their request. 
• Facility is a NUT FREE setting – daughter has a peanut allergy. (since she was one year old, now she is 23)
