Service Description
Provides a family-friendly home for ten individuals (men and women) with developmental disabilities and provides them with education and support necessary to enable them to become independent and self-sufficient members of their community.
Residents work on the farm (taking care of their animals and garden) and have a variety of wood working projects and assembling contracts.
Residents have the opportunity to learn a variety of homemaking skills, self-help skills, communication and socialization skills, recreational and leisure activities that contribute to a full and rewarding life.
Eligibility
Adults with developmental disabilities - must be a client of the Community Living Service Development (CLSD).
Application Process
Individual's Social Worker will send in the application on their behalf.
All applications are kept on file until there is an opening. Applications are reviewed when a spot becomes available.
