Service Description
Provides individualized services to those who are affected by substance abuse, dependency or problem gambling related issues, including:
- Individual, group and family counselling
- Screening and assessments
- Co-dependency/family
- Gambling services
- Prevention, education, and community development
- Youth and family services
- Dual disorders treatment
- Treatment Centre (30 beds located in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Estevan; 15 beds are dedicated to people recovering from crystal meth addiction, five spaces are available to people seeking treatment for other addictions; four beds are for pre-treatment; and six beds are for post-treatment).
- Community support program (transitional housing programs to assist clients in the initial stages of recovery from addition; consists of three two-bedroom apartments in Estevan).
Application Process
Referrals may be accepted from physicians, justice, social workers, employers, clergy, schools, Sasktchewan Government Insurance (SGI), and self-referrals. Problem-gambling services are scheduled out of the Weyburn office with clinics in Kipling and Estevan.
