Service Description
A skills training program open to all eligible participants in the community who are looking to find employment:
- Consists of 10 weeks of full-time classroom instruction followed by 6 weeks of work experience.
 - Helps participants to increase the skills needed to get and keep employment, including written and oral communication, job search, computer use, handling conflict, math, customer service, and other soft skills.
 - Offers a work placement – participants can gain work experience and apply their skills.
 - Includes job search assistance to sharpen resume, cover letters, and interview skills.
 - Provides ongoing career guidance to maintain employment.
 
Eligibility
- unemployed or underemployed
- eligible to work in Canada
- must be 16 years or older
- willing to commit to the 16 weeks program
- wanting to find a job at the end of the program
