Service Description
Provides immigrants and refugees with support and learning opportunities to build knowledge and develop the skills needed to start a successful career in Canada.
Some of the services include:
- Résumé Workshop: Offers guidance on creating a professional résumé that highlights relevant skills and experience.
- Interview Preparation: Provides instruction on effective interview techniques, including common practices and pitfalls, to build confidence and improve performance.
- LinkedIn Workshop: Delivers support in developing a professional LinkedIn profile and using the platform for job searching and professional networking.
- Job Search Workshop: Offers strategies and tools for conducting an effective job search, with a focus on opportunities in the Saskatoon area.
- One-on-One Employment Support: Provides individualized assistance with résumé development, interview preparation, job market information, and other employment-related needs.
- Applied Skills Curriculum to Empower Newcomer Development (ASCEND): Offers an employment readiness program to help skilled immigrants refine their soft skills and intercultural competencies.

Immigrants and refugees new to Saskatoon.

New clients need to show one item from each of the following categories:
1. Government Identification:
- Passport
- Identification card
- Driver’s license
2. Immigration Documents:
- Permanent Resident Card
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR)
- Study Permit
- Work Permit
- Visitor Record
- Proof of Citizenship
