Service Description
Offers a program that helps adults with low literacy, adults with disabilities, and individuals of First Nations ancestry for work through in-class and on-the-job training.
Includes one-on-one support, small group learning, and collaboration with local businesses and industries. Helps identify current skills and build new abilities through classroom and work placements.
- Focus on employment skills evaluation and training, including resume and portfolio development, computer, and job search skills and high demand employment certificates.
* Canadian Language Benchmark level 6 (CLB 6) is a pre-requisite.
Eligibility
Adults with low literacy, adults with disabilities, and Indigenous adults.
