Service Description

Wildfire Information:

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) has launched a dedicated, toll-free phone line for people with general questions about the wildfire situation in Saskatchewan. The line will be staffed from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm and can be reached by calling 1-855-559-5502.

  • If you have evacuated from your community, you need to register yourself and your family with either the SPSA or the Canadian Red Cross (CRC), depending which organization is supporting your community.

Visit the SPSA website to determine which organization is supporting your community.

If the SPCA is supporting your community, register using the Sask Evac Web Application to receive evacuation support. This application helps residents who have been relocated stay connected to their communities. The Sask Evac App also provides their leadership with essential information.

If the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is supporting your community, visit the website for more information.

The SPSA website provides online information related to emergencies in the province regarding:

Families or individuals experiencing a personal disaster can reach out to the Canadian Red Cross for support for up to 72 hours.

NOTE: Most emergencies within Saskatchewan are managed at the local level first – usually by fire, police and emergency management. The SPSA can provide emergency food, clothing and shelter at the request of communities that are experiencing an emergency or crisis.
