Service Description

Provides individuals with an opportunity to connect with support staff and other people affected by Crohn’s or colitis, to get advice, emotional support and information about living with IBD.

  • One-on-One Peer Support – an online mentoring and support program
  • Online Group Peer Support – provides an opportunity for individuals to share and get support on how to deal with aspects of everyday living with IBD including the impact of IBD mental health and wellness.

Eligibility

Canadian residents age 18 and up who have been newly diagnosed with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, or whose diagnosis or life situation has recently changed may request a mentor. Local online Saskatchewan support groups run monthly.
