Service Description
Members Assistance – provides non-resident members with assistance to attend unforeseen events such as: emergency assistance, supporting ill family members, or immediate family funerals where assistance is not otherwise available.
Transportation Assistance Program – provides non-resident Band members with financial assistance for school, club or activity transportation. Assistance provided for travel shall be limited to mileage, hotel, and meals based on the Band’s Social Assistance rates.
Urban shuttle – provides transportation services for band members to and from the Cowessess reserve. Transportation service is only provided between the Urban office and the Band office.
Eligibility
Members Assistance - Cowessess First Nation band members living in urban Regina. Transportation Assistance Program - Cowessess First Nation band members living in urban Regina. Children and youth 20 years of age or younger and attending an educational institution. Urban shuttle - Cowessess First Nation band members living in urban Regina.
