Service Description

Vaccination is available through:

  • Participating pharmacies
  • Pop-up clinics in various communities
  • Online booking system.
  • If you do not have a valid health card, cell phone and/or email address, call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) to book an appointment.
  • Parents and guardians of all children ages six months up to five years can book appointments online or by calling 1-833-SASK-VAX (1-833-727-5829)
  • Designated vaccines, including Novavax, are available by SHA appointment made by calling 1-833-SASK-VAX (1-833-727-5829) only.

Eligibility

  • All Saskatchewan residents ages six months and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. A second dose of the vaccine can be provided 28 days after receiving the first dose.*
    • Except children 6 months up to 5 years of age offered the 2-dose Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine are recommended an interval of at least 8 weeks between the first and second doses. For children in this age group with immunosuppressed conditions, a three-dose series is advised with an interval of 4 to 8 weeks between doses. Families may have the option of reducing these intervals to 28 days, once the province has received adequate vaccine supply.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

  • People will receive a wallet card with a record of their COVID-19 vaccination.
  • If you have been vaccinated outside of Saskatchewan, you can add your immunization information to your Saskatchewan health record – details available here.
  • Saskatchewan citizens with a MySaskHealthRecord account at eHealth Saskatchewan are able to view their COVID-19 vaccination record in a new format that includes a QR (Quick Response) code.
    • The record can be downloaded/saved, printed, and viewed on mobile devices.
    • Citizens may also download the free the Saskatchewan Vaccine Wallet app (SK Vax Wallet) from Google Play or Apple App stores to download their vaccine record and have it easily accessible in the SK Vax Wallet app on their phone.
