Service Description
Provides counselling for individuals, couples and families on issues such as:

Relationships

Personal issues
-
Family Issues
-
Addictions (assessment/recovery/relapse prevention)
-
Depression and Anxiety
-
Domestic Violence – working with abusers and/or victims
-
First Nations issues
-
Grief and Loss
-
Stress Management
-
Separation/Divorce
-
Self Esteem
-
Trauma / post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Staff have training and experience with multiple counselling modalities and help clients resolve issues, problems and conflict.
NOTE: Rapid Access Counselling (free, quick access, in-person or virtual mental health services) is available through Catholic Family Services of the Battlefords and other agencies via Counselling Connect Saskatchewan.
Psychologists are registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. Social Workers are registered with the Saskatchewan College of Social Workers.
Eligibility
Services available regardless of religious affiliation or economic situation.
Application Process
Documents Required
General Counselling
Documents required include a completed Intake & Consent form, and (if applicable) a Self-Declaration form.
Rapid Access Counselling
No documents required.
Fees
General Counselling
Fees are based on annual household income. Employee and Family Assistance Programs or insurance benefits may cover the cost of services.
Rapid Access Counselling
This service is funded through the Saskatchewan Health Authority and is delivered at no-charge to clients.
