Service Description
Provides a virtual platform for discussion, mentorship, and training, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among blind, deafblind, or partially sighted individuals:
- National Public Chats: every Friday at 4:00 pm Pacific time
- One-on-one peer support sessions: connect those who require more extensive support with a volunteer mentor
- Peer support sessions, workshops, and presentations: may include topics such as the use of adaptive technologies, Braille learning, virtual fitness, health, recreational activities, online shopping and banking, resource access, leadership, and self-advocacy training.
